Ideal for general metering applications and available with either a sensor or remote mounted converter, the ABB COPA Electromagnetic Flowmeter (Stream Ref.: ST/DE43 and ST/DE23) utilises the latest Digital Signal Processor, common to the COPA range. Offering EEPROM memory storage of all unit parameters, it ensures storage of totaliser readings and enabling quick inter-changeability between converters without the need for re-configuration.
 
When sensor mounted the converter can be rotated through 90° with the display allowing tilt positioning ensuring optimum readability. The back-lit 2-line display allows viewing of flowrate, flow total, tag number, flow direction, alarms and bar graph display almost simultaneously. The range of remote converter housings which can be installed upto 50m from the sensor include an aluminium field mount, 19” rack mount, panel mount and rail mount housings.
Featuring a unique Magnetic Stick Configuration, set-up of the display or viewing of the process parameters can be achieved without need to access the units buttons.
