Hand Held Meter Reading
The introduction of a Hand Held Meter Reading System is considered by most to be the first step in Automatic Meter Reading – simply replacing the note book with a Hand Held Computer (HH). Meter reading data can be simply entered onto the HH manually by the meter reader or automatically via an inductive touch pad.
In operation with numerous Utilities throughout the UK for many years the system offers the advantage of being a proven robust technology – whilst interfacing into the DOKOM Management Software, common with most of the reading technologies offered through Stream.
