ST/VT (Vortex) and ST/ST (Swirl)
With an inbuilt temperature sensor and steam tables, the ST/VT (Vortex) and ST/ST (Swirl) range of flowmeters provide a direct measurement of steam massflow. Utilising the latest Digital Signal Processing this range offers the ultimate in reliability and value for money. Supplied with either senor or remote mounted transmitter the unit provides a clear LCD display of Rate and Total with both Pulse and 4-20mA outputs as standard.

Minimal straight pipe lengths (Swirl)

With the Swirl meter minimal inlet & outlet straight pipe lengths are required; Straight sections with a length of 3D should be installed upstream and 1D downstream.
To ensure optimum performance of the Vortex flowmeter a straight inlet section with a length of 15D (pipe-diameters) and an outlet section of 5D long is required.
